Darren Le Roux ‘Biodiversity-sensitive cities: fact or fiction’

This talk will explore whether cities can find strategic ways to balance socio-economic interests with wildlife habitat, thereby creating a ‘shared space’ in our parks, roadside margins and backyards.

Darren Le Roux is a PhD candidate in the Fenner School of Environment and Society, ANU. His research and work experience has had a strong focus on wildlife conservation and on monitoring biodiversity in human dominated landscapes.
