Botanical interns graduation

A key aspect of Friends’ involvement with the Gardens has been in the area of research into native flora. A recent example was the Friends’ support for the internship program run by the Centre for Australian National Biodiversity Research for a group of students from Australia and overseas. A graduation ceremony for the 2015 interns took place on Friday 20th February. To show the support of the Friends our President, Lesley Jackman, presented each of the graduates with a year’s complimentary membership of the Friends and a book voucher worth $80 to be used at the Botanical Bookshop in the Gardens, as well as the Friends' publication Australia’s Garden.
