The Spring orchids on Black Mountain are well known; but what is not so well known, is that many and very diverse terrestrial orchids flower in Autumn.

A small band of orchid enthusiasts and local experts have been monitoring all the orchids occurring on Black Mountain for more than 30 years. From the knowledge gained Dr Mark Clements will describe the differences of the Autumn Gems.

This event is organised by the Friends of Black Mountain. If you are interested in this talk, you may also enjoy the walks on Black Mountain arranged for the Canberra and Region Heritage Festival.
