EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES HAVE BEEN CANCELLED

All public events and activities at the ANBG for March and April have been cancelled or postponed, due to the national effort to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

This is a difficult and disappointing decision for the Gardens, but is necessary to safeguard public health and safety.

The Visitor Centre is now mainly ‘self-service’, with additional signage and maps available at the desk. Rangers are still on duty to provide essential services. All guided walks and Flora tours, Thursday Talks and other public meetings and events scheduled for March and April have been cancelled, including the Summer Sounds concerts and the Plant Sale. The Banksia Festival previously set for April has been postponed until Spring.

Since much is unpredictable, these decisions will be revisited regularly. Events later in the year are likely to be affected by the impact on the planning and organisation required.

As further information becomes available, this website will be updated. If you have bookings for a cancelled event, you will be contacted.

We thank you for your understanding and patience. So many of our volunteers and members are amongst the most vulnerable people in the community; their health and welfare is too important to take chances.
