'The Science of Botanical Illustration': monthly Botanical Resource Centre talk

You are here

Monday, 2 September 2013 - 10:30am

Annette Wilson, who is the editor of the Flora of Australia series for the Australian Biological Resources Study (ABRS), will show a selection of line drawings which have been used to illustrate the flora (and fauna) series produced by ABRS. She will discuss the ways in which these illustrations are created and used, and why, in the days of digital photography and computer graphics programs, there is still a place for black and white illustrations.

The venue is the Crosbie Morrison Building in the ANBG. Those attending are welcome to come at 10.00am for a pre-meeting chat. If you wish, buy a cup of coffee from the café on your way.
