Black Mountain Weeding Work Party

Our next WEEDING WORK PARTY is planning to remove more woody weeds in the grassland and grassy woodland area in the SW of the Black Mountain Reserve.

Details for this work party are:

Meet:  Caswell Drive entry on the mountain side.
Drive from Belconnen Way southwards along Caswell Drive towards Glenloch Interchange, Woden, or Tuggeranong. Note the yellow diamond shape advisory sign showing access road on left (mountain side) and the blue and white “P” sign for parking. Pull into the carpark carefully.
Look for banners.

Bring:  Some mattocks will be provided, but if you have one that you would like to bring, please feel free to bring it with you, preferably with your name on it.
Also feel free to bring other friends with you.

Wear:  hat, sunscreen, long-sleeved shirt, long pants, gloves, stout shoes.

We shall break for delicious morning tea at about 10:30am.
