Liz Milla, Postdoctoral Fellow, CSIRO Black Mountain will talk on Evolution of Australian heliozelid moths and their pollination mutualism with Boronia (Rutaceae)

This talk will discuss the evolutionary history of the Heliozelidae, a family of tiny day-flying moths, in Australia.  It will show how one group of heliozelids has established an obligate pollination association with Western Australian species of Boronia (Rutaceae). This association has led to remarkable adaptations in both moths and their host plants, including the evolution of rare active pollination behaviour in some of the moth species.

The talk will be held in the ANBG Theatrette.
