The 31st Annual General Meeting of the Friends of the ANBG will be held on Thursday 17 October 2019 at 5.30 pm in the Theatrette at the Gardens.

Light refreshments will be served from 5pm in the Dickson Room.

The AGM will be followed by a discussion of the arrangements for the 30th Anniversary of the Friends of the Australian National Botanic Gardens in 2020.

** Elections will be held for the position of Vice President, Secretary and two ordinary members of Council. If a current member of Council nominates for and is elected to another vacant position, there will be an additional vacancy for an ordinary member.

Nominations for election to Council must be made in writing, signed by two financial members of the Friends and accompanied by the written consent of the candidates. These should be lodged with the Secretary by 10 October 2019, together with a brief summary outlining the nominee's relevant interests and experience. Nomination forms will be available from early September in the Friends Lounge, on the Friends website (www.friendsanbg.org.au), by ringing the Friends on (02) 6250 9548 and leaving a message, or by an email request to info@friendsanbg.org.au.
