Mangroves, Myalls and More: Conference in Port Augusta, August 2012

The most recent biennial conference of the Association of Friends of Botanic Gardens was held at the Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden, Port Augusta, on 18 and 19 August 2012. The conference was attended by some 150 members of Friends of Botanic Gardens groups from around Australia and New Zealand, including seven members of the Friends of the ANBG.

National Wattle Day 2012

The Friends of the ANBG celebrated National Wattle Day 2012 in considerable style with the launch of 'A Celebration of Wattle - Australia's National Emblem', a revised edition of Maria Hitchcock’s book 'Wattle' (AGPS 1991).

Spring flower walks

Enjoy the delights of Australian native plants in flower when you join one of the regular guided tours (at 11 am or 2 pm daily) during Floriade,  from September 15 to October 14. Meet at the Visitor Centre. No bookings are necessary unless there are eight or more in the group.
